For creators: 9950X3D = worth the extra $200 for 16 cores

When Does the 9850X3D Make Sense? (Rare Cases)

Scenario 1: The price will fall

No. Just no. For the same money, optimize your current PC and you'll get more FPS than with an upgrade from 9800X3D → 9850X3D.

Instead of paying extra for the 9850X3D, you can:

✅ Buy a better cooler - better temperatures = higher boost clocks

✅ Better monitor - 1440p 240Hz is better money spent than a CPU upgrade

Ryzen 9850X3D is:
