So does the second. In the third you start missing things you used to catch without thinking - footsteps behind you, the minimap, utility timings. The stats look similar and the rounds fall apart.

Most players write it off as tiredness and keep playing. In reality, holding attention through a long session is something you can train and manage - exactly like your aim.

What we do in the session

Thirty minutes one-on-one, built around your actual day and your actual sessions.

Removing distractions - what to switch off, what to move out of the room, and how to set up your phone so you do not keep going back to it between rounds. A second monitor with Discord and YouTube is the most common quiet thief of attention.

Block length - after which match the quality of your decisions starts to drop, and how many matches in a row make sense in one evening.

Time of day - when your head is actually sharpest, and how to move the matches you care about into that window. Queueing at midnight after a full day costs more rank than any lack of skill.

Getting back in after a break - how to return to focus after a phone call, an argument or a losing streak, instead of entering the next match already scattered.

Warm-up - what to do in the first ten minutes so you stop handing over the first match just to get going.

Who this is for

For players who game in long sessions and can see that the end of the evening looks different from the start. Also for those who play short but queue ranked straight after work or school, and wonder why the first two matches always go badly.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from the tilt session?

Tilt is a reaction to a specific event in a match. Focus is a resource that drains gradually across a session. They often travel together - a tired head tilts faster - but you work on them differently. If anger after a lost round is the main problem, take the tilt control session.

I struggle with focus outside gaming too. Can you help?

That is not our area. We work on focus in the context of playing - we do not diagnose and we do not treat. If difficulties with concentration get in the way of your daily life, take it to a doctor or a psychologist. We will tell you that in the session rather than selling you another one.

Is this about meditation?

No. We work on concrete things: desk layout, notifications, session scheduling, breaks, warm-up. If some breathing technique happens to help you, we will show it - but it is a tool, not the point.

What if my comfort in the chair drops too?

Then part of the problem is physical, not mental. A stiff neck and a burning wrist after an hour are very effective distractions - see desk ergonomics.

Do I need one session or more?

Start with one. You get concrete changes to make, and after two weeks you will know what works. If you want to work more broadly and for longer, there is the month-long ULTIMATE Mental program.

Related: if after an hour of play it is not only your focus dropping but also your comfort in the chair, the cause may be your desk - see desk ergonomics. And if you want to see where in a match you actually lose rounds, get a demo review.

Problem: In competitive games a moment of lost focus costs you the round, the match and your rank.
