Macro and map flow.<\/strong> When to push, when to rotate, when to concede a lane so you do not lose more. That is the biggest difference between a player standing still and one climbing - and that knowledge does not expire with a patch.<\/p>\n Rotations and routing.<\/strong> Fastest paths, roof shortcuts, wall-bounce techniques and holding onto your character's acceleration. We check how you combine movement with your hero's abilities, because in Deadlock that is one subject, not two.<\/p>\n Team fights.<\/strong> Positioning, comms, picking a focus target that fits the situation. We also check whether your baiting is a deliberate play or simply ruining the fight for your team.<\/p>\n Builds and items.<\/strong> In Deadlock builds shape the game so heavily that you can lose a match entirely by yourself, just by ignoring what the enemy is buying. We teach reacting, not memorising a list.<\/p>\n Your hero's role.<\/strong> The question is simple - do you actually know what your character is for within the team. Surprisingly often the answer is no, and that explains most of the losses.<\/p>\n We move into decision-making and how fast you react to what is happening on the map, into team behaviour, and into why a specific match was beyond saving. Eternus is the highest rank in Deadlock and only a few percent of ranked players reach it - if you are there, we talk about nuances, not basics.<\/p>\n Deadlock is still under active development and changes every few months. For that reason we do not treat this as settled knowledge<\/strong>. Even though routing and builds matter enormously in this game, there is no point mastering them before the official release - the next patch can invalidate them. What carries over to Deadlock?<\/strong><\/p>\n From MOBAs you bring macro, map reading and objective thinking. From shooters, aim and positional awareness. Each route leaves a different gap to fill, and a session deals with exactly your gap instead of explaining things you already know.<\/p>\n The meta shifts every few weeks. Will the session go stale with the next patch?<\/strong><\/p>\n Some specifics will - which is why we do not build sessions around a list of builds. Reading the map, timing rotations, positioning in team fights and picking a focus target work regardless of the patch. Current data lives separately, in the tier list<\/strong><\/a>, which refreshes every 24 hours.<\/p>\n What should I prepare before the session?<\/strong><\/p>\n A replay from your last loss, ideally one you thought was unfair.
